Root Canal Therapy
Root Canals is the commonly used term for the main canals within the dentin of the tooth. These are part of the natural cavity within a tooth that consists of the dental pulp chamber, the main canals, and sometimes more intricate anatomical branches that may connect the root canals to each other or to the root surface of the tooth.
When the pulp become infected due to a deep cavity or fracture that allows bacteria to seep in, it can die. Damaged or dead pulp causes pressure that cannot be relieved from inside the tooth. Pain in the tooth is commonly felt when biting, chewing and sensitivity to hot or cold.
A root canal is a treatment used to repair and save the infected or decayed tooth. During the procedure, the nerve and pulp is removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. A root canal typically involves three appointments.
Periodontal Treatment (surgical and non-surgical)
The leading cause of tooth loss in adults is gum disease. The main cause of gum disease is plaque, a bacteria that forms and attacks the gums surrounding the teeth and the bone supporting your teeth.
Gingivitis is the early stage of gum disease. Your gums may be red, swollen and bleed easily. Untreated gingivitis can lead to more advanced stage of the disease called periodontitis.
Periodontitis occurs when plaque eventually spreads below the gum line and attacks the tissue and bone supporting the teeth. The gums begin to seperate from the teeth, forming pockets where more bacteria can accumulate. If left untreated, these pockets deepen, and more and more tissue and bone is destroyed until the tooth becomes loose and requires extraction.
Only your dentist can tell if you have periodontitis with a periodontal exam. Periodontal Treatment requires short and long term strategies. Dental Implant Placement and Restoration

Complete and Partial Dentures

Dentures are constructed using flesh colored plastic base material. Natural looking teeth are inserted into the base material. Dentures allow you to maintain your smile and eat normally.
Dental Fillings
